Yanagi accompanies Miyabi, Yuma, and Soukaku to investigate a sudden Aether concentration in the Honkai. She questions the armored Fu Hua, then joins the division’s attempt to stop her from leaving with the confidential documents. 13

During the ensuing battle, Yanagi assesses Fu Hua as being at Void Hunter level after watching her overpower the division. Following Fu Hua’s departure, Yanagi helps withdraw the team and later participates in spreading news of the encounter on Miyabi’s instructions. 14

Fu Hua Investigation

After Miyabi locates Fu Hua at a dessert shop, Yanagi assists her investigation by locating Fu Hua’s school. She later reviews surveillance footage and realizes Fu Hua used an illusion to make Miyabi pursue a nonexistent target. 16 17
