Mandala is the hidden ruler of Da Luo Territory and the adopted daughter of the Heavenly Emperor, who raised her as his own daughter. Her original body was left within the Ancient Heavenly Palace, while she spent a long period asleep; her history gives her knowledge of ancient figures such as the Heaven Wrath Thunder Emperor and the Heavenly Emperor. 58 115 152 175

She first meets Lu Chen beneath the Great Lo Golden Pool after finding him recklessly tempering his unrefined body in the pool’s golden energy. After judging his foundation stable and his talent worthy of investment, she leads him to the pool’s deepest level and offers him the Great Lo Golden Flame. 57 58
