Lu Qing closed his eyes in despair.
The Ghost Messenger Blade hanging over his head ultimately did not fall. After thinking for a moment, Wang Ye continued, "Second question."
"Do you know the Law of Time?"
Lu Qing looked calmly at Wang Ye. He did not answer immediately, instead pondering for two seconds before slowly speaking. "I do."

"No need to probe anymore. If there's something you want to ask, get straight to the point."
There was no pride or boasting in Lu Qing's tone. He merely seemed to be stating a simple fact.
Of course, that fact dealt Wang Ye a slightly heavier blow than expected.
Wang Ye fell silent.

He always felt that Lu Qing understood him far too well.
