Guanyin, who had remained calm all this time, finally changed expression.

Sure enough, it was far too difficult to fool someone as sinister and cunning as Maitreya.
The key was that she truly had no way to fight back now.
Otherwise, she would not have wasted so many words on Maitreya.
Originally, she had thought she could hold Maitreya off for half an hour. Half an hour would have been enough to activate the formations nearby. At that point, she could at least trap Maitreya for several days and slowly think of a solution.

This time, Guanyin did not remain where she was. She fled at top speed.
Unfortunately, the backyard was only so large.
And just as Maitreya had said before, her ability to continually resurrect came at a price—a very steep one.
Her physical strength now was not much greater than that of ordinary Bodhisattvas.
Even though she kept fleeing, it took less than a minute for Maitreya and Ran Deng to corner her against the wall. Neither of them had any interest in wasting words on Guanyin. They simply took out a so-called Immortal Binding Rope and tied her up.
To keep her from screaming and causing an accident at a critical moment, they even stuffed a large chunk of flesh into her mouth.
Tenderness toward women?

The flesh had clearly been torn from a ghost while they were traveling earlier. Blood dripped constantly from the corners of Guanyin's mouth onto the ground.
