Buddha Is Everywhere

"Senior, at this point, any further fighting between us would do more harm than good."

"The Buddha's blood and vitality are abundant."

"How about a seventy-thirty split?"

With the opportunity already within reach, Maitreya forcibly restrained his desire. He turned and blocked the doorway, looking at Ran Deng as he spoke solemnly.

Ran Deng looked thoughtful. After a long while, he shook his head. "This old monk contributed along the way. Thirty percent is already plenty."

The two instantly formed an alliance.

Maitreya's gaze swept over Guanyin. Though he still had some doubts, he did not dwell on them. He pushed open the meditation chamber door and entered.

The giant Buddha still sat cross-legged.

Scriptures floated across its surface.

Even with Maitreya's temperament, his breathing grew heavier. He suddenly struck out with his palm.

The scriptures shattered.

The corpse split apart once more and fell to the ground.

The delight in Maitreya's eyes slowly faded, his expression gradually stiffening into something ugly. Ran Deng was no different.

As evil intent incarnate, he could not help letting out a furious roar. Black energy surged endlessly around him, as though he might collapse at any moment.

There was no blood or vitality at all.

It was even worse than an ordinary person.

Maitreya sat on the ground in a daze and began to laugh somewhat madly.
