Chapter Summaries

Tiffany Trawni, princess of the Fisherman Kingdom, surfaced in Gotham seeking an audience with Downton, but killed the Wraith Party members who attacked her. Floyd brought the unconscious mermaid to Downton Abbey, where he left her in the pond while Downton slept.

• Jimmy Morgan and the Wraith Party gang brothers dumped a corpse-filled oil drum into the sea, where Tiffany Trawni emerged and asked to board their boat.
• Tiffany retrieved the drum, learned that the gang had attacked her fellow Atlanteans, and apologized for Orm's invasion before explaining that she had come to seek protection.
• Jimmy struck Tiffany with a crowbar, so she killed him and the other gang members when they opened fire.
• The gang's video reached Falcone, who sent Floyd to the docks; Floyd captured Tiffany and carried her away while Bruce warned him not to provoke a diplomatic incident.

The siblings decided to visit Master Downton in Gotham to ask about the threat and the power hidden in the ocean depths.

• Ao Guang captured Trench creatures for Ao Run to examine, but their simple minds yielded little useful information until she searched thousands of them at once.
• Ao Guang fought off the gathering Trench swarm as Ao Run completed her search, and the siblings escaped after she found memories of creatures attacking the Trench from beneath the seafloor.
