Luo Tian checked Jiren’s strength, then returned to Earth with Bardock, who reunited with Gine and destroyed the assassin group threatening her. On May 12, Goku still had not returned to the present, while the chapter revealed that Cell had appeared in Trunks’ timeline and that Goku’s battle with Vegeta damaged the Time Machine, delaying their return further.

• Luo Tian found Jiren at Level 30.9 and explained that Goku had only briefly reached Level 1 through his Super Saiyan God transformation.
• Mojito told Bardock that Universe 9 had stabilized and granted him time off, so Bardock traveled with Luo Tian to Universe 6 to find Gine.
• Bardock rescued Gine from Tao Pai Pai, Master Shen, and their assassins, then destroyed Android 19 and killed Tao Pai Pai and Master Shen.

Meanwhile, Broly began Vegeta and Gohan's training at the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, while Piccolo fought Android 17 as Cell and Gohan headed toward the battlefield.

• Supreme Kai accused Zeno of being connected to Bibidi and attacked him, but the attack had no effect; Zeno ordered Whis to revive Babidi and arranged for Luo Tian to continue training a replacement Supreme Kai.
