No one liked long-winded lectures. Peter knew that well. But sometimes, it was important to let young people know what they would be facing. Some believed young superpowered individuals needed training, extensive experience, and guidance.

But Peter felt that people who wanted to become superheroes needed even more to understand the risks they faced. Just as every firefighter knew their job required rushing into burning buildings and carried the risk of death, everyone had to understand the risks and the kind of path they were about to embark upon.

Oh, and they also had to remember to go to school, so Peter told Nova that he would take him to S.W.O.R.D. after school.

"Then Harry got kidnapped, school let out early, and I had to pretend I'd rushed over from outside. It delayed me for a little while."

"So you think these little brats need training, and that's why you dragged us into this?"

Looking at Nova in the distance, Tony mostly felt that Peter was making a mountain out of a molehill. He even brought up something Captain had said back then. "And you should know that not everyone wants these kids to be trained. Some people think children shouldn't be sent to the battlefield."
