An alien pirate had discovered a planet-destroying weapon...

To be honest, every Avenger present instantly went into combat mode. Nearly all of them instinctively assumed that the Nova Corps had failed to stop him, and Earth was about to face such a terrifying enemy.

But the outcome was much better than that. At the cost of disregarding losses and casualties, the Nova Corps had successfully destroyed that horrifying weapon. Then Roman Dey, a Centurion of the Nova Corps, had pursued that damned interstellar pirate leader despite his injuries.

By the time he had driven his target to Earth, he too had reached the end of his strength.

After hearing Roman's story, Captain fell silent for a moment before asking Roman a question.

"Is anyone waiting for you to return?"

Roman's artificial intelligence fell silent for a moment.

"My... more precisely, Roman still has many comrades, as well as a wife and daughter waiting for him to return."
