Where Is the Hand?

A few minutes later, Daredevil and Spider-Man appeared above New York at the same time. The two landed on the rooftop of a building, and Peter knew full well that Matt must have found some clue about the Hand.

Sure enough, Matt's first words were about the Hand. "Kingpin came to me. He wants to join forces with me against the Hand."

Peter was somewhat surprised by the news. He did not doubt that Kingpin could cooperate with superheroes; after all, Fat Kingpin was a remarkably flexible and calculating man.

Look, ever since Peter had visited Kingpin in prison, no one had investigated his identity again.

So if something unusual came up, Fat Kingpin truly would choose to work with heroes. What puzzled Peter was that he had decided to cooperate with Matt over the Hand.

"Is the Hand really that much of a threat? Kingpin actually chose to work with you?"

Matt froze for a moment at those words, then frowned.

"I don't know either. From what I've seen, although the Hand has shown up a few times and repeatedly attacked me, they haven't actually displayed any threat beyond expectations..."

As a superhero, Matt mainly judged the Hand by its combat strength. He did not think the Hand's force was outrageously powerful. Thinking it over carefully, compared with the villains Matt had faced, including Kingpin himself and Bullseye, the Hand indeed did not seem especially formidable.

If that was the case, why did Kingpin think he needed Matt's help?

"In other words, Kingpin must have noticed something unusual from the perspective of a gang boss."

Matt agreed with Peter's words and sighed. "But the question is, what?"
