Peter had just entered the classroom when he saw Cindy staring blankly at her phone. She had probably received some mysterious notification from Felicia. After taking a deep breath, he sat down, and Cindy put away her phone before asking, "Do you have plans on Homecoming?"
"Uh? Yeah, I guess?"
It was not easy to explain, so Peter simply brushed it off. Not knowing what Cindy was thinking either, he got ready for class. Then he suddenly remembered something and turned to ask Harry and Amadeus, who sat behind him, only to find that both of them had heavy dark circles under their eyes.
"What happened to you guys...?"
"Hm? Oh, I was tutoring someone in math online last night. I stayed up too late, so this happened."
Peter looked at Amadeus skeptically, not entirely convinced. Tutoring someone in math in the United States? Whose kid was that serious about studying?
Peter turned to Harry, who repeatedly shook his head and said, "I was tutoring someone in math too."
"You were teaching... the same person?"
"No, no, it just happened at the same time."
Even without Spider-Sense, Peter was certain the two of them were not telling the truth. They had probably stayed out somewhere having fun too late last night. Still, as long as nothing serious had happened, he could let it go.
In truth, they had not merely stayed out too late. They had pulled an all-nighter, playing games on the computers at the new Web-Slinger Base. But the two exhausted high schoolers forced themselves to stay awake and asked Peter, "What were you about to ask us when you turned around just now?"
"Oh, right. I haven't really paid attention to what's going on at school. What's this year's Homecoming costume theme?"
"One day is My Little
