Peter finally understood Felicia's real reason for seeking him out. In the end, it was still about her father. Moreover, since Hydra's shadow lay behind Spirit Cat's death, there was a very high chance that Hydra had moles within the CIA as well. Of course, everyone knew there were some; they just did not know who they were. Donald Pierce might be an entry point. Following the line from him to Spirit Cat might uncover information about Hydra.

Come to think of it, this guy's surname was Pierce—the same surname as Alexander Pierce, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s representative on the World Security Council.

Realizing this, Peter immediately asked, "Everyone knows the CIA is the biggest drug cartel around, but I really didn't expect you to go to Mexico and Colombia to investigate. What did you find?"
