"The multiverse is a complicated concept. Its original definition came from parallel universes, but later we discovered that some universes had deviated to an extreme degree. A considerable number of worlds were distorted beyond recognition. Still, there were exceptions. Every universe truly gave rise to its own infinite parallel universes."
"Among them, Earth-616 serves as the central axis and has produced the greatest number of other universes. This is also one of the proofs that Earth-616 is the most powerful universe."
Miguel had Lyla bring up a map of the multiverse. The multiverse map was not truly a map, but countless images of Earths layered atop one another with slight variations. Every universe was in motion, and the minute differences in the frequencies of the vibrations produced by that motion made it possible to distinguish between different universes.
"This is also an important method for identifying universes. As long as we determine the resonance frequency range—say, using Earth-616 as the basis for comparison—we can quickly locate a large number of parallel universes built upon Earth-616. For example, the universe I mentioned where another Otto Octavius succeeded. Here."
Miguel then separated out one universe. "For now, we've designated this universe Earth-TRN95. We'll assign it a proper designation once we find its exact number. This is a universe modeled after Earth-616, but only modeled after it. Your universe has experienced far too many unique events."
"Such as?"
There were certainly plenty of them.
The two most basic differences were that other universes did not have Cindy Moon as a totem. She might still exist in those worlds, but she was not the "Bride," and Peter was not the "Patriarch." Also, Uncle Ben was dead.
Those two facts created countless other differences. The Avengers had no opportunity to gather intelligence from other universes,
