• Thor gained the upper hand against Ares, but the other battles remained undecided as Super Adaptoid attacked Captain.
• Juggernaut emerged from Strange’s portal and began fighting Super Adaptoid, which adapted its body and weapons to match him.
• Strange used a dark ritual to send Juggernaut and Super Adaptoid to Dormammu, and Thor knocked out Ares.

Tony told President Ellis that A.I.M. had helped plan the attacks and developed the dangerous Extremis virus, while they were aboard a diverted Air Force One. At A.I.M.’s headquarters, Fury’s team uncovered records naming several secret projects, including one involving the Cosmic Cube.
