The Sea of Death was vast within, and legend had it that many islands existed there, inhabited by powerful Soul Beasts.
The sky was shrouded in dark clouds year-round, and harsh weather such as storms and thunderstorms often appeared.
However, the map in Tang Lan's hand only marked several locations along the outer edge of the Sea of Death. Beyond that lay a mass of swamp-like blackness.
The other seas were marked fairly clearly, and Tang Lan had already determined that this was merely an ordinary sea chart.
"Ah! Is that so?"
"But this is the most detailed map I could find after searching all over the city."
"The Sea of Death is far too dangerous. Ordinary forces simply cannot draw a map of its terrain, and even the Will Family does not possess such a map."
Lin Ni explained somewhat sheepishly.
She felt disappointed that she had been unable to help Tang Lan, but this was already the best she could manage.
"All right, don't be too upset. I know you've done your best!"
"Those capable of mapping the terrain of the Sea of Death are probably limited to only a few major forces. I just wonder whether the auction will have one."
"I'm attending the Ten Thousand Treasures Commerce auction tomorrow. How about it? Are you interested in coming with me?"
Tang Lan smiled as he warmly invited Lin Ni and Qiao Na.
The master and disciple exchanged a glance before Qiao Na spoke first. "Invitations to the Ten Thousand Treasures Commerce auction require advance reservation and verification. We didn't make a reservation beforehand, so I'm afraid we won't be able to enter this auction!"
