Unfortunately, nothing special happened when Leafa and Yui met. Neither of them recovered.

Kiriko had also figured out what was going on with Leafa.
"Leafa doesn't seem to have a weapon, right? See if she can use this."
Asuna handed Kiriko a sword.
It was the Sword of Night and Flame.
This sword was also a weapon made for spellcasters. It was perfect for Leafa.
"Too bad Yui doesn't seem to have recovered her memories either," Asuna said. "I don't know what we should do."
"Mr. Miyazaki said that all we can do now seems to be wait..."
Waiting really was all they could do now.
Once "Yaoguang" had been fully repaired after some more time, Leafa's memories would return.
As for now, there was nothing anyone else could do.
Yui's situation did not matter much, though.
But that was not because of amnesia.
Or rather, Yui herself had no personality or consciousness, so it was not really "amnesia," but construction.
Yui's memories were actually just player data.
"Unfortunately, the console that could be side-loaded has vanished without a trace. If we had a console—even one that could only view data—it would already be a huge help to us."
After finding Leafa, Kiriko had calmed down and regained her usual sharpness.
"Does Leafa know how she got lost?" Asuna asked.
