The head of the Iselma Family came over to the three of them.
He was a gentleman of around forty-five. Standing beside the entrance, he wore a vermilion suit, had brown hair, and leaned on a cane.
"Forgive me for failing to greet you sooner." Reines bowed to him as well.
Byron smiled and nodded. "Please, come in. The banquet has already begun."
Irena followed Reines into the venue.
The hall was vast, with an exceptionally high ceiling. The entire place carried an air of solemn grandeur.
A thick carpet covered the floor. Though the air was cool, it was comfortable.
"They ignored me," Irena muttered.
"—They were trying their best to ignore you. You're dressed less like someone attending a banquet and more like the heroine of a fantasy story about to set out on an adventure." Reines snarked. "By the way, aren't you going to change?"
