When Caren's hand moved to the right, Rin's gaze followed it to the right.
When Caren's hand shifted to the left, Rin's head tilted left as well.
"Just because of this."
Caren spoke.
"Damn it! You think having money means you can do whatever you want?!"
Rin's eyes widened.
Why is this nun so rich?!
"Sorry, but having money really does mean you can do whatever you want. You mages are short on funds, aren't you? Even the Lords of the Clock Tower probably can't do anything without money." Caren said.
"Ugh..."
It felt like a thousand arrows had pierced her heart.
"Tohsaka—" White walked over.
If this kept going, Rin would probably get slapped in the face with Caren's banknotes.
It was funny, but Rin would probably turn into a comic relief character afterward.
So she ought to step forward now.
"If it's just working here, then there's no problem. I also want to purify all the resentment within the Holy Church."
Fuyuki's current state was very close to a holy domain, but there were still a few "backdoors" and "weak points."
Unfortunately, the filthy Kotomine Church was one of them.
Being able to clean this place up now was actually more advantageous for White.
And Caren was clearly interested in her.
White could also see through Caren's constitution.
So White intended to help Caren a little.
"Mhm." Caren nodded. "Don't worry. It may be compensation, but I won't make you work for nothing."
"By the way, what's going on with Miss Bazett?" White asked about the situation on the other side.
Bazett was not here at the moment. She was helping Cú Chulainn with treatment elsewhere in the Holy Church.
"I can't exactly fight a Servant alone. Of course I need some muscle.
