The cape was not a single piece but a separate garment. With it draped around her, White looked even frailer, carrying a fragile, sickly air.

Artoria looked toward the sea.
The last time she had watched the sea with Irisviel, it had been at night. But now, it was daytime.
"Saber's homeland—the sea must have been a common sight there, right?"
White asked.
"Yes. But for me, everything across the sea was an enemy."
"Ah—sorry." White lowered her head.

Artoria wanted to slap herself twice.
