In the Attack on Titan World, this equipment was usually paired with weapons.

It could latch onto Titans or buildings, then the gas-powered fans inside the device rapidly reeled in the cables, enabling high-speed movement.

After getting a feel for its balance, Sparkle felt that the ODM Gear was not entirely useless.

With this device, she could suddenly change position in midair and disrupt an enemy's judgment. She could even use it to land quickly and avoid being struck while airborne.

Even in the Ninja World, these functions would be quite useful.

After all, didn't Konoha have the Taijutsu technique Shadow Dance Leaf, which kicked people into the air, immobilized them, and then relentlessly pummeled them?
