"Eh...?"
What did that mean?
"Stella didn't remember anything from before. She didn't have any personal belongings, either. This name belonged to the girl who was in the laboratory before Stella. It sounded similar, but that Stella wasn't me," the girl said. "But the people in the laboratory said it was all about the same, so... that became my name."
"Th-this is?!"
What laboratory?
What experiments?
What exactly was she talking about?
Asuka's mind could barely process it.
"Then Neo took Stella away from that place. Stella saw the ocean for the first time. Stella came to love the ocean."
The girl continued recounting her origins.
Asuka no longer knew what he should say.
By the time he came back to his senses, he had already instinctively pulled her into his arms.
Stella was very calm.
She felt as if she were no longer afraid of anything.
As long as she stayed here, everything outside seemed to have nothing to do with her.
Stella gently rested her head against Asuka's shoulder as well. Silence enveloped them.
Since gaining memories, this was the first time Stella had felt such a
feeling. Even Neo had never given her this gentle warmth.
Then they fell asleep together before the campfire.
"—It's already been forty hours."
Luna Maria and Rey, both with dark circles under their eyes, were resting aboard an Orb ship.
Not long ago, Orb had notified them that traces of radio-like signals had been discovered in the South Pacific. However, due to the N-Jammer's interference, they were unable to analyze the signals' source or determine their location.
Still, they could be fairly certain that this signal was highly likely to be the target they were looking for.
"Freedom Gundam has already gone to search. We need to
catch up quickly too,"
