But then another voice came through.
"This is the Eternal," Lacus said.
"Huh?"
The familiar sound of Lacus's voice left the ZAFT forces dazed for a moment.
Until recently, the person calling herself "Lacus" had appeared before everyone with a much livelier manner.
Compared with that lively voice, this one sounded much closer to the voice they remembered from two years ago.
"I'm with you all. The Eternal is beginning its support operation."
"Hm?"
Then the radar displays aboard ZAFT's mobile suits and ships, and in their command room, lit up.
A prominent dot appeared on the screens.
It was the Eternal.
What was more, the ship had revealed itself and switched on its transponder voluntarily.
"This is Yzak Joule. I'll be supporting ZAFT from here on."
Yzak had arrived too.
Yzak's Gundam was effectively a "Blitz Duel" Gundam.
But there was one awkward detail in this world—Blitz was still around.
Nicol and Blitz were both still around, so Duel couldn't be Blitz Duel. Instead, it had borrowed a little from its neighbor, Azure Duel, and become an Azure Duel Gundam.
A new coat of paint, basically.
But that wasn't entirely fair. In terms of its design philosophy, the new Duel was a completely new machine.
