Kira's parents did not take up much of her time. They had come here to support the reconstruction efforts, as Heliopolis was still being rebuilt.
"Everyone is so enthusiastic." Lacus had not disguised herself, yet when the people here saw these celebrities, they merely greeted them or watched from afar. No one came over to ask for autographs. Precisely because of that, their enthusiasm was pure friendliness, stripped of the feeling of idol worship.
"Many of those who came here to help with construction were once residents of Heliopolis. To them, being able to rebuild their former home was worth contributing to. Some had even said they were willing to work for free," Inori Yuzuriha said.
"Yes, and many people have decided to leave with us too." Kira sighed. "I remember it being around one percent."
The number of people here who had signed up to go to Jupiter was as high as one percent.
After all, it was a journey from which they would almost certainly never return. Having one percent willing to leave with them was already quite remarkable.
"There are still many people in this world pursuing a beautiful future and vision."
Lacus sighed as well.
"On a global scale, quite a few people have expressed a desire to immigrate," Inori Yuzuriha added. "However, 78.1% of those prospective immigrants said they would be willing to immigrate after the second wave."
Some people truly wanted to escape Earth.
But the risks of going into outer space frightened them.
Still, if someone had already succeeded in colonizing it, they would be willing to follow.
"So there are still so many brave people in this world..."
Even if it was only twenty percent, that still amounted to hundreds of thousands of people.
That many people would be enough to fill
