The wing-shaped equipment on Garuda's back unfolded, giving off a strange glow.
The Radiant Communicator was an immensely powerful drive system.
But unlike in the "original," Inori Yuzuriha's modifications had made the Radiant Communicator far more powerful in the hands of someone with SEED.
To everyone else, that simply meant "only a tiny handful of people can draw out the Radiant Communicator's full power."
Coordinators were strong, but they couldn't harness that power.
So Garuda had a similar drive system, but it didn't use the Radiant Communicator's principles. It had reached roughly the same specifications by another means.
"Heat signature increasing. Garuda's speed is rising," Inori Yuzuriha warned. "Enemy mobility up 217%!"
That was its peak speed.
Heat dissipation was limited in space. No matter how advanced the technology, heat still built up easily, and too much would turn the cockpit into an oven.
In other words, overclocking would cause overheating, followed by throttling and a drop in performance.
