Coulson had barely finished speaking when Fitz had yet to ask his question.
Everyone suddenly felt the plane jolt violently.
Melinda, who was piloting the plane, hurriedly gestured across the table, bringing up a display of the entire Airbus as it continued flying on autopilot.
"No attack, no flock of birds, no malfunction, no strong air currents. What happened?"
May quickly reported the situation. The jolt just now was clearly very abnormal.
Coulson, however, nodded in surprise. "Looks like we have a guest. That was fast."
As he spoke, Coulson and May headed toward the cockpit and the top floor.
"A guest? Aren't we flying at an altitude of eight thousand meters at a speed of three hundred meters per second?" Skye asked in confusion.
"Actually, an Airbus can dock with another aircraft in midair. There's a passage structure above that connects to the S.H.I.E.L.D. plane, but we need to confirm it manually," Fitz explained.
"But we haven't received any request to initiate the pairing, and May doesn't know anything about this either. How did Coulson know someone was coming? There must be something strange going on," Simmons added, following Fitz's explanation.
These two scientists, Fitz and Simmons, had been close friends since the Academy. They had also been the two most outstanding students in their graduating class, and they always worked together with extraordinary chemistry.
Leo appeared in midair, the twin wings behind him trembling slightly. He spotted the fast-moving Airbus in the distance.
"This plane is no ordinary aircraft. Nick Fury sure has money to burn."
Leo's eyes lit up slightly. He quickly saw the figures inside the plane, as well as some of the Airbus's equipment, and could not help remarking on it.
His wings trembled, and he instantly flew over, landing directly on top of the
