Banner and Tony could only watch as Red Whale vanished before their eyes.

Tony glanced over twice, then turned to Banner and asked, "Do you think Red Whale did that himself just now, or was it Leo?"

Banner continued staring fixedly at the patch of sky where Red Whale had disappeared, unable to recover for a moment.

Seeing Banner's expression, Tony shook his head and turned back to continue reinforcing Veronica. At the same time, he immediately began investigating S.H.I.E.L.D.'s affairs.

Inside the Triskelion, Rogers was summoned to a high-level office. A vigorous-looking white-haired man stood at the door, waiting for Rogers to arrive.

"Captain, I'm Alexander Pierce."

Rogers was slightly taken aback, then shook his head and repeated the same answer. "I don't know."

"Did you know the place was bugged?" Pierce's smiling face suddenly changed.

"I did. Nick told me." Rogers answered directly.

"Did he tell you that he was the one who bugged it?"

Pierce stared at Rogers and growled softly.

The moment he heard that, Rogers's eyes widened, and he said nothing.

Pierce was in no hurry. He raised a hand and tapped once, causing a screen to unfold on the wall beside them.

Displayed on it was a criminal sitting in a courtroom chair.
