"Bucky! Bucky, look at me! Do you remember me?!!"
"Mm-mm!!"
Bucky violently shook his body twice where he stood, but restrained like this, he still couldn't move at all. He could only barely turn his body.
The restraint over his mouth still kept him from saying a single word.
Even though the metal arm behind him was operating at full capacity, gripping the metal bar restraining him and trying desperately to snap it, it simply couldn't be done.
Yet this man called Rogers kept talking in front of him, saying things Bucky couldn't understand at all and making him extremely agitated.
Looking at the still ferocious, icy gaze in Bucky's eyes, as though he would kill Rogers the moment he broke free, Rogers knew that Bucky truly didn't remember him in the slightest.
But Rogers didn't give up at all. Facing Bucky's savage gaze, he continued speaking one word at a time.
"Your name is James Buchanan Barnes. You're one year older than me. You're my best friend. Do you remember?"
"In 1943, you joined the 107th Regiment. Do you remember? That was where my father died, and it was also the reason we enlisted together!"
"Bucky, Bucky, look at me. That day, we went to the Stark Expo together. You took me there, and that was where I met Dr. Erskine. We went through so many hardships together. You're my best brother. Don't you remember any of this?"
"Bucky, do you remember Brooklyn..."
Rogers tirelessly faced Bucky, whose entire body was restrained, and spoke sentence after sentence about their past memories.
He had already been talking for half an hour. Even Rogers himself was somewhat surprised that he still remembered so many things. He remembered everything.
It turned out that he hadn't forgotten a single thing from the past.
