Roller looked at the two people in front of her and gave a soft snort. She had no good feelings left for the short raccoon.
Groot, on the other hand, seemed to have reached some kind of agreement with Rocket and the three of them.
Though he was a little slow-witted, he waved his thick branch-like arms.
"Hello, just call me Jason. This is Little Jie, and this is Roller. Let's go."
Jason nodded at the large tree person beside him and spoke.
Rocket glanced at the disdainful Roller beside him, his eyes lighting up, then let out a strange cackle.
With his firearms slung over his back, he strode ahead, apparently still harboring thoughts about Quill, whose bounty was forty thousand.
But since they were heading in the same direction, Jason said nothing.
Little Jie, meanwhile, looked curiously at Groot, the tree person twice his height. Still young, he was not especially shy.
"Groot, are you the legendary tree person? This is my first time seeing one."
"My name is Little Jie. I know your name. Is this your first time on Xandar?"
"Uh..."
Little Jie fell silent as he looked at the towering Groot.
Seeing Little Jie's awkwardness, Jason obediently rubbed his head and said to Groot,
"Groot, your tree-person race is extremely rare throughout the universe. I wandered through space for many years, and this is truly my first time seeing a tree person."
Groot tilted his head and glanced at Jason before saying the same thing again.
The moment he heard that, even Jason, who had worn a smile on his face the whole time, couldn't help but darken.
He had thought this big fellow would be much easier to get along with than Rocket, but he had never expected Groot to mock him like this.
