The Broker looked at the beaming Star-Lord before him, but there was still a trace of discomfort in his eyes.

Under normal circumstances, after completing a mission, one had to hand it over to the person who had accepted it—in this case, the leader of the Ravagers, Yondu.
Star-Lord looked straight into The Broker's eyes with a smile. "Yondu didn't come. He wanted to, but he asked me to bring you some good news."
Quill shrugged as he looked at The Broker, seemingly unable to hold back his laughter.
"Let me tell you, in this line of work, your eyebrows are the most beautiful."
The Broker seemed immune to Quill's teasing. Since he often traded with the Ravagers, he was naturally familiar with Quill and knew that Yondu was especially fond of this young man.
So he did not suspect anything and instead turned his gaze toward the Orb of Power that Quill had brought.
Watching The Broker's movements, Quill asked in an apparently casual tone, "What is this thing?"
