Before she could move, however, she discovered that she could no longer move at all. Her entire body instantly stiffened in place, as if an invisible wall of air had fixed her there. She could not even open her mouth, though she could still breathe through her nose.
The entire scene fell silent. Everyone looked at Scott. Even Wanda and Pietro, standing to the side, were looking at him curiously. After all, he had defeated Sam before, and they had heard that he had once been an ordinary person.
Scott looked at the expectant gazes surrounding him and hesitated briefly. "If you can guarantee that I'll enter the Quantum Realm safely, I'm willing to help."
