Darren had miniaturized the enormous Shrinking Particle Beam Device in the laboratory. In essence, it was very similar to the shrinking Pym Particle Disc Dr. Pym was currently developing.
But there were also major differences. The Pym Particle Disc had safety mechanisms. Without conscious control, even if the disc suddenly struck a person's body, there was a high probability it would not activate.
But the gun in Darren's hands had abandoned its original purpose and instead focused entirely on destructive power.
In terms of its attack method, it was not only far more aggressive than the Pym Particle Disc, but had also lost the ability to shrink matter. Even if the target was an object, it would rapidly collapse at the same time it was shrunk, eventually becoming a small pile of debris.
And if the target was a living being, it would instantly become a small puddle of meaningless meat paste, erased completely.
This was Darren's trump card—a Shrinking Particle Gun that was almost guaranteed to kill. It fired silently, without causing any disturbance, and since the target was shrunk drastically, it was also very easy to clean up afterward.
However, it had its drawbacks as well. First, despite its small size, the Shrinking Particle Gun was extremely expensive to manufacture, costing nearly one hundred thousand dollars. Its magazine capacity, meanwhile, was only four shots.
