"I'll think back."
Wanda looked at the expectant expressions of the two people beside her and could only speak helplessly.
She hadn't expected that merely saying a few words would force her to painstakingly search through memories she had already sealed away. It was no easy task.
"Don't worry about it for now. So what if there are other Winter Soldiers? With me here, they won't be able to do anything."
Leo smiled and stepped in front of Wanda, blocking Sam and Rhodey's eager gazes.
"You can slowly search through them when you have time. At least for now, there's no news of any other Winter Soldiers."
"They might still be frozen somewhere. Hydra has already been almost completely destroyed by us."
"If the Winter Soldiers really exist, they should have all been released by now."
"Nothing has happened yet, and they won't suddenly appear after just a few days."
Leo spoke first. His words weren't meant only for Sam and Rhodey in front of him. He was certain they had already been transmitted to the people behind them. It was even possible Nick Fury was listening in real time.
But Leo didn't care. He simply understood that he couldn't let Wanda and Pietro be bullied here.
It wasn't that Sam, Rhodey, or the Avengers would bully them. Rather, S.H.I.E.L.D. might take advantage of them in some way, and they were certainly capable of that.
"That's right. It won't hurt to wait a little longer. Let's go."
The group continued forward. Pietro and Wanda looked around with considerable interest at everything around them—the spacious, tidy lawns, the broad, level landing pad, and the rows of exquisitely designed yet strange-looking buildings in the distance.
Perhaps this would be where they stayed for a while.
"Who else is at the base?"
"Natasha
