Leo Has Arrived

Leo was cultivating his abilities in the garage workshop.

After last night's events, everything concerning Dragon Fang had been resolved.

At least for now, Leo had not sensed anyone with ulterior motives lurking near the house.

Nor had anyone come to test George and Jenny. Everything was natural and harmonious.

Leo enjoyed this state of affairs. Jenny and George could do the things they liked.

Jenny would mostly buy groceries, cook, and watch television. Sometimes she would go shopping. She cleaned the house when she felt like it, and hired a cleaner when she did not.

George would also go out from time to time to take on repair and design jobs. Sometimes, when he felt lazy, he would lie alone on the balcony and flip through the stack of books he had bought, along with the daily newspaper.

Having money to support a life without worries was truly a wonderful thing.

Although both of them knew that Leo was wealthy and that Iron Man, whom they knew, was even wealthier, they had never gone on lavish shopping sprees for luxury goods, mansions, or expensive cars. Instead, they continued to live the same ordinary lives as before.

And this kind of peaceful life was so reassuring.

But countless accidents in the world could come along and destroy such a life. A slight ripple in the tides of the century could destroy countless families.

And Leo's existence was meant to smooth out all these risks.

A ball of Spatial Energy in his hand kept expanding and shrinking. Its icy energy illuminated the entire small garage.

The slightly flickering energy ball contained a deep blue energy that kept circling inside, as if struggling deliberately, or perhaps releasing itself instinctively.

Yet no matter what, it could not break free of its current restraints.

Leo had been constantly training his control over Spatial Energy.

The Space Stone embedded in his wings had opened the door to the laws of space for him.

While others were still hiding outside the library, secretly peeking in and trying to see what was inside,

they would occasionally have a flash of inspiration, crack the door lock, and hurry inside to sneak a look. They would flip through a few books that were normally impossible to obtain, only to be kicked out by the librarian.

Leo, however, possessed the keys to the entire library. Whenever he wanted, he could come in and browse the books, and the keys even had the ability to aid his memory.

The librarian was no longer surprised by Leo's presence. If he occasionally went too far, it would kick him out and lock the doors.

But all he had to do was dust himself off, take out the key, unlock the door, and go back inside.

With such a miraculous tool, Leo was completely immersed in the vast ocean of spatial knowledge.

Sitting on the ground, Leo was surrounded by wisps of spatial rifts as he explored everything within them.

The miscellaneous items on his body had naturally been placed on the workbench nearby.

'Buzz.'

A soft vibration sounded from the table.

The noise brought Leo out of his cultivation. With a casual squeeze, the Spatial Energy ball in his hand instantly burst apart, sending countless streams of energy shooting outward.

Anything they touched would be met with a powerful energy explosion.

But those powerful energies were directly swallowed up and vanished by the spatial rifts that appeared around him at the same time.

Leo slowly stood up. 'The types of spatial power change along with the energy. With countless changes come countless ways to use it.'

'Can humans really control this kind of spatial power? Just mastering one or two of its variations would probably bring endless benefits!'

The deep blue light in his eyes slowly faded. With a casual gesture, the phone on the table flew into his hand.

"Coulson? What made him think of calling me?"

Leo glanced at the name on the phone and muttered softly, a smile unconsciously appearing on his face.

"Hello, Coulson. Calling me out for tea?"

"Tea may have to wait a little, Leo. Something's come up, and I need your help. Can you get here now? May's been injured."

Coulson let out a soft breath as he spoke into the phone.

"May was injured? What happened?"

Leo's expression turned serious. May had once been Coulson's partner and was also a senior agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Her combat skills were no worse than Ward's, and she had even been given the title of Cavalry within S.H.I.E.L.D.

With a light swipe of his hand, a virtual projection appeared in the air and began frantically scanning and locating Coulson's position.

But the location kept shifting, making it impossible to pinpoint accurately.

Coulson did not answer. He simply said, "We're at the Caesars Palace Hotel in California. There was an explosion here."

"I'll be there immediately."

Leo spread his hands across the virtual screen, and a positioning map filled with detailed data appeared.

He quickly found the location of the Caesar Hotel, and his eyes narrowed slightly.

Blue light flashed across his body, and he vanished from the spot.

Above downtown California, four thousand meters in the air, blue light flashed, and Leo suddenly appeared.

But he seemed to have anticipated this. A ring of golden, purple, and blue light seeped from around his body.

It quickly stabilized his falling form, which had just begun to descend, leaving him floating in the air.

The phone was still in his hand, but after a rapid transformation, it became a half-rimmed, full-coverage pair of glasses brimming with advanced technology.

With a sweep of his eyes, he immediately saw the magnificent building in the distance, still emitting wisps of Black Smoke.

Without a second thought, he sped toward it.

A few seconds later, Leo passed through the damaged roof and descended straight down, landing beside Coulson.

Coulson had hung up the phone less than half a minute earlier when his vision blurred and a Golden Light flashed before his eyes.

Then Leo appeared beside him.

Without saying anything else, Leo went straight to May's side and reached toward her shoulder.

May was still unconscious, and her breathing had grown increasingly faint. The blood that had just begun to dry at the corner of her mouth began flowing Fresh Blood once more.

As Golden Light flowed into her from Leo's hand, her previously pale face quickly improved.

"Coulson, that was quite an explosion!" Leo remarked casually.

"Ward betrayed us. A woman came from Asgard who can bewitch people's minds. She can charm any man. More than two hundred and fifty people in this hotel were under her control and fought us to the death. We've dealt with all of them now."

"The only troublesome part is that Ward, a Level 7 Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., is still in her hands."

Coulson's voice was cold.

It had only been a few brief sentences, but the difficulty of carrying them out went without saying.

"Control humans? Another Mind Control user?"

"No, she controls men. It's highly targeted by gender. It seems to be some kind of bewitching ability. We've learned that Thor was once controlled by Lorelei, so I only dared to ask you for help."

Coulson explained it simply and clearly.

"Lorelei? Her name is Lorelei?"

Leo moved his palm slightly, and May, who had been lying on the ground, floated up into the air.
