When Pietro saw that physical attacks were effective too, he grew eager to try. He began darting around the entire room, and in the blink of an eye, more than a dozen small objects shot through the air toward Leo, who lay quietly on the bed. Each object contained immense force. Pietro showed no mercy as he hurled them, putting all his strength into every throw. The results were naturally obvious. The strange energy shrouding Leo seemed to be terrified of hurting him—or rather, it seemed terrified that even the slightest disturbance from outside would wake him. Thus, when faced with the small objects being hurled at him, the Pale Yellow Energy kept circulating, unceremoniously bouncing every incoming object away one by one. They could not advance even a little, always maintaining a distance of roughly thirty centimeters from Leo. Seeing this, Pietro naturally began throwing them with even more enthusiasm. There were not many small objects in the room that could be thrown, but with Pietro's speed, he simply turned around and threw the objects that had been bounced away back into the air. As a result, more than a dozen miscellaneous objects could be seen flying endlessly through the air in the not-so-large room, ricocheting back and forth between Leo on the bed and the phantom figure in the room. It looked rather like someone playing table tennis against himself. Even Pietro's nervous reactions were being pushed to their limits as he kept track of the entire room. After several exchanges, Pietro could no longer control the random dozen or twenty objects flying around, and he had no choice but to let a few slip through. One of them was a glass of water.
