Looking at the golden thread cocoon in his hand, Leo suddenly did not know what was happening. A hunger welled up from the depths of his soul, making him want to devour the thing before him.
It was none other than the headless body in Leo's hand, golden light blooming through its blood-red form. It deeply captivated Leo's gaze.

Turning to look outside, Leo saw the beast absorb all the energy from his palm in the blink of an eye. Flecks of golden light flowed and sank completely into the twisted head on the beast's chest.
That fleeting moment of clarity, that cool spring suddenly surging into his maddened heart—even though his mind was in extreme confusion, his instincts still pursued that calm which seemed never to have existed.
