Rhodey got a call from Pepper. "What do you mean, he hired someone to kill Tony?"
"All right, where is Tony now?"
Pepper replied, "I don't know. I called him, but he didn't answer. Please hurry to his house and check on him."

Rhodey hung up, his expression turning tense. He floored the gas and sped toward Tony's house, not caring that he was breaking the limit.
Tony struggled over to the desk. With stiff hands and feet, he dragged the toolbox beside him over and wedged it under himself, hoping to raise his body higher.
Using the last of his strength, he tried to open the drawer, but his fingers slipped and failed to pull it out.
