Laufey's Death

The twin wings of the Nirvana Golden Wings spread out, somewhat twisted, their sharp edges lifting beneath them and forming a circle.

They then began spinning rapidly, turning into a golden-light saw blade. The wing tips pressed against the Destroyer's waist and began cutting into it.

The two golden wheels slowly began entering the Destroyer's body.

The surroundings remained utterly silent. Although the wings sliced through the air, they stirred no ripples. Only the edges of the wings could be seen slowly embedding themselves inside.

Under the rendering of the golden light, the metal within the cutting area seemed to undergo a slight change, and the efficiency grew faster and faster.

The Destroyer had no Internal Structure. It was originally Odin's battle armor, and through the power of magic, it could move on its own.

Now, part of its structure had already been destroyed by Mjolnir. On top of that, Loki had hurriedly brought Laufey to Asgard and abandoned control of it.

In less than three minutes, the wings spread, splitting the Destroyer in front of him into two halves.

He reached out and grabbed it, pulling the upper half toward him and squeezing it in his hand.

Sitting cross-legged, he took the Vibranium Maker I Reactor, which still had half its energy remaining, from his little backpack and held it in his hand.

The Destroyer's armor began to tremble slowly. Before long, specks of golden light appeared across its surface and gathered into a Golden Bead.

Loki inserted the Gungnir in his hand into the Bifrost's activation switch.

After successfully activating the Bifrost, he teleported Laufey, the king of the Frost Giants, from the agreed location to Asgard.

Looking at Laufey, who had brought only three followers, Loki said expressionlessly, "Welcome to Asgard!"

King Laufey looked at Loki and began laughing excitedly.

Leaving two Frost Giants behind to guard the Bifrost, Laufey, who stood a full two-point-eight meters tall, followed Loki toward the Golden Hall where Odin was sleeping.

All of this was seen clearly by Heimdall, who was frozen in ice.

After learning of Loki's plan, Heimdall began struggling violently, sparing no Source Power as he attacked the ice encasing him.

'Crack.'

A fissure appeared in the ice.

Thor had flown to the Bifrost's landing point with Jane long ago.

Thor looked at the sky. "Heimdall, activate the Bifrost."

But there was no response.

"Heimdall?"

No matter how he called out, Heimdall remained completely silent.

Thor turned back to look at Jane and realized that something was wrong.

A car was speeding toward them in the distance.

The other four members of Asgard also came to Thor's side.

"Heimdall isn't responding."

"Then there's nothing we can do."

Thor looked at the sky. "Heimdall, if you can hear me, we need you!"

"Heimdall, we need you!"

Thor's repeated calls reached Heimdall's ears through the ice.

Countless divine powers surged recklessly out of his body, and more and more cracks spread across the ice covering him.

At last, it reached its limit. In an instant, all the ice covering his body shattered.

With the sword in his hand, he turned and slashed at the Frost Giant beside him.

Another one charged forward, and Heimdall pierced through his stomach with a single thrust.

He killed Laufey's two guards in just two moves.

He struggled to reach the teleportation platform, then thrust the Sword of the Rainbow Bridge in his hand into it as countless Bifrost energies gathered.

But Heimdall collapsed weakly.

At last, the sky showed some movement. A huge tornado storm appeared, with multicolored beams of light constantly gathering inside it.

Sif and the Warriors Three laughed happily.

Thor, however, grew serious. He had already realized that something must have happened in Asgard and that it was no longer suitable to bring Jane back with him.

He walked up to Jane. "I have to return to Asgard, but I promise you that I'll come back for you, all right?"

Jane gazed deeply at Thor. She really wanted to go up and take a look, but when she saw Thor's solemn expression, she said, "All right."

The two embraced and kissed passionately.

On the desolate Gobi Desert, Leo sat cross-legged.

Beside him, golden orbs of light kept emerging from the half of the Destroyer, burrowing into Leo's body.

Most of them attached themselves to all the bones in his body, while some surged into his mind and disappeared.

Under the flow of golden light, the originally black armor plates slowly faded, turning gray-silver before growing even darker.

As he felt the power of the metal, a faint curve appeared on Leo's calm face.

Thor and the others returned to Asgard. Seeing Heimdall collapsed before the switch, Sif and Hogun hurried forward to support him.

Volstagg yanked out the sword, cutting off the energy that was still being transmitted.

Thor waved the hammer in his hand. "Take him to be treated. I'll deal with my brother."

On the golden doors behind which Odin slept, countless frost crystals suddenly condensed.

Frigga, the Mother of Asgard, saw this scene. As the greatest Sorcerer in Asgard, she had taught Loki all his magic.

Although she was a Sorcerer, she still drew the sword beside Odin's bed without hesitation.

The seal on the door was dissolved by the frost, and a Frost Giant following Laufey stepped forward.

Frigga directly cut him down with a single stroke, leaving him unable to rise again.

But the Giant Laufey slapped Frigga and sent her flying. Even with three times the physical strength of a human body, she still fainted.

Laufey walked forward and looked at Odin lying motionless on the bed, his face gradually twisting into a savage expression.

"I heard that you can still hear and see everything around you. I hope that's true."

"That way, you'll know that the person who kills you is Laufey."

A sharp ice dagger condensed in his enormous palm.

He raised his right hand, preparing to stab it into Odin's neck.

Loki, who had been hiding outside the door, finally stepped forward.

The powerful energy within Gungnir was released and struck Laufey in the back, directly sending the king of the Frost Giants flying.

The overwhelming divine power inflicted massive injuries on the unprepared Laufey, while Loki, fully armed, walked forward.

Holding the spear and pointing it at Laufey on the ground, Loki stared at him with determination.

"And the person who kills you is Odin's son."

Laufey stared at Loki in disbelief, but before he could say anything,—

Gungnir released another burst of immense light. The powerful strike hit Laufey and turned him directly into scraps.

Awakened by the massive energy fluctuation, Frigga rose and looked excitedly at Loki.

"Loki, you saved him."

Frigga's heart was filled with pride and praise for Loki. She stepped forward and embraced him.

Loki looked at Frigga. "I swore to you, Mother. They will pay for everything they did today."

In the Gobi Desert, half of the Destroyer had already grown extremely dim. Its black, gleaming armor plates had turned a dead, dark gray.

The Reactor in his hand also extinguished its last faint glimmer.

Leo flipped his palm, and the Destroyer's upper half collapsed, turning into countless scraps of inferior metal that scattered across the ground.

The remaining half of the Destroyer flew over as well.

As the wings behind Leo spread, they plunged directly into the Destroyer's body.

Faint golden light began flowing into the golden wings.
