Taking the Nalan Fruit

"Your Nalan Fruits are all here. Take them back and eat them at your leisure."

Leo looked at the naked longing in Pietro's eyes, smiled, and tossed him the box.

"There are forty sets of Fruits. The instructions for taking them are inside. Also, don't forget about the side effects. Make preparations beforehand."

Only then did Leo look at Pietro and say this.

As for Wanda, Leo flicked a finger lightly, and Xiao Bai suddenly appeared before them. Xiao Bai had apparently grown impatient with the staff earlier, so Leo had put it away.

If it had merely been ordinary metal, even Vibranium, such a massive chain ball would have been completely assimilated in at most a minute.

But the rate at which the huge chain ball changed under the baptism of Leo's golden energy was truly somewhat worrying.

However, Leo was not anxious in the slightest. He stood calmly where he was, awaiting the changes to come.

Meanwhile, the moment Pietro entered his room, he impatiently opened the huge silver-white metal box before him.

Forty sets of Fruits were evenly embedded in the soft lining inside, each set clearly containing three Fruits.

One of the three Fruits looked different from the other two. Two of them were relatively large, about the size of oranges, evenly divided into black and white, though the colors blended into each other somewhat.

At first glance, they somewhat resembled China's taiji symbol, though they were only vaguely similar. Both colors on the Fruits continuously emitted a faint glow, as though the black and white portions were slowly shifting.

The remaining Fruit was only about the size of a walnut and entirely green. If it had not been brought back from Void Land, Pietro would have thought it was an unripe apricot.

Pietro picked up a set. Each set was sealed in a small transparent box and individually packaged, looking quite exquisite without affecting the others in the slightest.

"Didn't they say there were instructions? Where are they?"

Pietro curiously toyed with the small box in his hand, not even knowing how to open it.

After fiddling with it for quite some time, fortunately, the three Fruits inside were secured in place and did not move at all.

"Damn, do I need a hammer?"

Pietro said helplessly. The transparent little box before him had no switch or seam whatsoever. It was like a solid crystal, sealing the Fruits inside.

He casually set it on the table beside him, intending to see whether there were any clues on the box.

Then a small projection appeared above the box, displaying instructions for use.

Fortunately, Pietro always carried his translator with him, and the relevant information appeared before his eyes.

"What? That little green Fruit is the Nalan Fruit? The other two are auxiliary Fruits for absorption and reaction?"

After reading everything, Pietro stared at the three Fruits in the box in astonishment.

"But isn't the way to eat them a little too simple? You just eat them like a sandwich!"

Pietro spoke with some disdain. Then he lightly traced a symbol on the surface of the box, and it slowly opened, releasing a puff of white mist.

Pietro casually picked up one of the auxiliary fruits and quickly ate it. About ten seconds later, he had finished one black-and-white fruit.

With fruit pulp still in his mouth, not yet swallowed, he picked up the small green fruit—the so-called Nalan Fruit. Though only ten seconds had passed, it already showed signs of melting.

Even though it had a pit, it had to be swallowed whole in one bite.

He then picked up the remaining black-and-white fruit and began eating it in large bites.
