Leo turned and left. With a shake of his shoulders, he retracted his golden wings, and they vanished without a trace.
Mark III landed in front of Pepper, its faceplate opening.
Tony looked at Pepper and smiled.
"Tony! Oh my god, are you okay?" Pepper saw the countless scratches and bullet marks across Mark III.
"Yes, Pepper, I'm fine!" Tony answered as he looked at her.
Pepper stepped forward and looked up at Tony in his Iron Man Armor. She could still faintly see the black bloodstains at the side of his head, not yet fully faded.
She was so emotional that she wanted to throw her arms around him, but she held herself back, tears glistening in her eyes as she looked at Tony.
More than anything, Tony wanted to take off the armor, but its current design only allowed him to remove the palms and helmet himself. The rest required mechanical arms to remove.
Agent Coulson stepped forward. "Mr. Stark, there's still quite a mess to deal with tonight. I hope you'll cooperate as well."
Tony looked at Coulson. He knew Coulson had protected Pepper and brought several agents to help, so he did not treat him too coldly.
"Pepper, establish a Stark Foundation. I think I should take responsibility for this."
Agent Coulson continued with a smile, "Mr. Stark, we'll have people specifically assigned to clean up this situation. There will definitely be a press conference tomorrow. We hope Mr. Stark will speak according to our prepared statement."
Pepper stepped forward. "All right, thank you. I trust you. If needed, I believe Stark Industries would be more than willing to contribute."
Agent Coulson smiled and walked aside to report the situation to his superiors and have people sent over as soon as possible to secure the area.
