Tony's Change, the Final Opportunity

"Time Travel? Are you kidding me?"

Tony looked at Leo before him with some speechless exasperation. "Do you know about time paradoxes? This is simply impossible."

"Do you know the truth about this world?"

Leo looked at Tony with a strange glint in his eyes.

"What do you mean?"

Tony frowned at Leo. As far as time machines were concerned, they were nothing more than fantasies dreamed up by filmmakers. They could never become reality.

The most famous example was the Grandmother Paradox. If someone could travel back into the past and kill their own grandmother, then they could never be born, which meant they could never travel back to kill her.

People couldn't change the past. That was already a universally accepted fact.

"By your understanding, the past can't be changed. Does that mean the future has already become predetermined, since everything we do will eventually become the past?"

"If you believe that everything you do is decided by you, is it possible that all of it has already been arranged?"

"If time really is just a single line, doesn't that mean our future has already become predetermined?"

Leo spoke these words while looking at Tony.

As for Tony, Leo's words had already left his mind reeling. Now, he had fallen into confusion altogether.

Leo had only come to this speculation after learning of Master Ancient One's explanation.

In the movie, when Dr. Banner returned to the 2012 Battle of New York, he went to find Strange and obtain the Time Stone.
