Quill's Thoughts

Quill had barely finished speaking when the three beside him all slowed to a slight stop.

"But there's still no word from Leo, and you heard what Yondu just said. That guy isn't someone we can afford to provoke. Aren't we moving a little too fast?"

Lorelei frowned slightly and spoke directly.

Chen Haoran, however, looked somewhat unconcerned. Standing off to the side with a carefree air, he said, "Isn't he just one person? With this many of us, are you saying we can't handle him?"

"Shut the hell up!!"

Lorelei glanced at Chen Haoran disdainfully and muttered with a curl of her lips.

Howard the Duck hadn't been with them earlier and hadn't heard the whole conversation, but he still followed along with them.

"Ego? That name sounds vaguely familiar. Who is he?"

Howard the Duck walked beside Quill, keeping as far away from Chen Haoran as possible.

"Judging from Yondu's tone, that guy should be Quill's biological father."

Lorelei was blunt as ever. At the same time, she muttered softly, "I never thought that guy could even have children. What is he actually trying to do?"

Quill heard Lorelei's voice and stopped in his tracks, suddenly turning to look at her.

"You know him?"

"No, I don't. I've only heard of him. Yondu was right. I don't recommend that you go looking for him alone. No matter what, he's still what you might call a god."

Lorelei gave Quill two strange looks before speaking.

"Ego? I think I remember now. There's an asteroid where every Ravager who went there ended up dead, and plenty of mercenaries went there and never came back."
