A shout rang out, and all the surrounding members of Yondu's Marauders immediately gathered around.
The ugly, burly man nearby did the same.
Kraglin, the slightly thin member who had just been mocking the burly man, instead moved closer to Yondu first.
He was not doing this because he was afraid of Quill or anything like that. He wanted to protect Yondu.
After all, there were plenty of people who wanted to take on the Ravagers, and Yondu's Marauders had quite a few enemies throughout the universe.
Yondu had also survived several assassination attempts, so Kraglin cared more about Yondu than Quill.
No one knew why Quill had suddenly appeared here, or whether some other scheme was involved.
When Yondu heard the shout, a hint of surprise and wariness appeared in his eyes. Then he remembered that Quill might have heard their earlier conversation, which left him somewhat irritated.
Even so, he resolutely walked toward Quill without the slightest precaution. He simply did not believe Quill had come to assassinate him.
Lorelei and Chen Haoran grew slightly tense as they watched the dozens of people gathering around them, but Quill was much calmer.
