Chapter Summaries

Jason fought Ronan in a desperate close-quarters struggle after Leo gave him the chance to take revenge. Jason’s dagger rusted and corroded Ronan’s wound, leaving Ronan staring in shock as Jason laughed uncontrollably.

• Leo treated Ronan enough for him to move, then kicked him over to Jason and told Jason to kill him.
• Ronan knocked Jason’s Aether Rifle aside and closed the distance, forcing them into a hand-to-hand fight.
• Jason attacked Ronan with his dagger and teeth, while Ronan bit Jason’s armored body and gradually gained the advantage.
• Jason drove the dagger into Ronan’s body, then crawled away, badly wounded and nearly exhausted.
• Ronan pulled out the dagger and discovered its blade had rusted and partly vanished; black blood seeped from his wound as Jason laughed wildly.

Nebula returned with Rix the Devourer’s head, removing the Dark Star’s threat and allowing Red Whale to break through the station’s outer barrier. Jason retrieved a hidden device from Ronan’s body, and Difan ordered the outside feed restored as Leo vanished.

• Supergiant Star reported that Ebony Maw’s fleet channels had gone silent after he was attacked by Leo and Difan’s forces.
• Thanos ordered Sanctum One to proceed at full speed toward the Void Land, with arrival expected in twenty-three minutes.
• Leo collected Difan’s stockpile of Uru into his Storage Space, and Difan reaffirmed his confidence in Leo’s ability to control two Infinity Stones.
