"Go on, scream. Scream yourself hoarse and no one will come save you." Ya Li threw her head back and laughed smugly. In a flash, she appeared at Xia Yi's side, hooked a finger under his chin, and studied him closely with a wicked grin. "Well, well. I didn't notice before, but you're actually rather pretty."

"Big Sis, just say whatever you want to say. I promise I'll behave." Xia Yi immediately chickened out. He had only meant to crack a few jokes and tease Ya Li a little, but he had not expected Ya Li to get even more into the act than him.

This woman—just a moment ago she had looked like she wanted to live and die, and now she had completely changed faces again.

A woman's heart was a needle at the bottom of the sea.

"Hehe, scared now? Don't you think it's a little late?" Ya Li giggled. Holding Xia Yi by the chin, she smiled sweetly and said, "Before we get down to business, why don't you tell me how we're settling that slap you gave my butt just now?"

"⊙o⊙" Xia Yi stared blankly at Ya Li. This woman—was she not afraid of going too far to stop?

Or perhaps she was not entirely acting at all.

"Looking at me like that—what are you trying to do?" Ya Li gave a soft laugh. Her finger slowly slid down from Xia Yi's chin, finally stopping over his heart.

"Big Sis, what can I even do in this state? The question is, what are you trying to do?" Xia Yi said with a wry smile.

"What am I trying to do? Weren't you awfully brave when you didn't care whether you lived or died just now? Weren't you certain I wouldn't do anything to you?
