• Xia Yi asked whether the Eternal Venerable had tried to become a god, and the Eternal Venerable said nonhumans could not ascend to godhood.
• The Eternal Venerable praised Yuanen Yehui’s strength, then warned that her power resembled demonic life energy; Yuanen Yehui reassured him that she was safe.
• The Eternal Venerable revealed that he had once been Tianxuan Continent’s Plane Master and Core of Life, but the Dragon God War had affected his prospects of entering the God Realm.

He offered Ya Li a share of faith power if she stayed to protect the Eternal Forest, but Ye Xinglan objected to the small reward.

Eternal Venerable explained that most of Tianxuan Continent’s Faith Power belonged to the Sea God or was taken by the God Realm, leaving little for Ya Li. Ya Li learned that the God Realm could not extract her Faith Power after she cultivated the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon, and the chapter ended with the Goddess of Life speculating that Xia Yi’s companions could surpass God King level.

• Eternal Venerable said he could offer Ya Li only the remaining ten percent of the Elf Race’s Faith Power and explained the risks his people faced after the Demon Plane was repelled.

Ya Li left to investigate them, carrying the Divine Artifact Life Hymn from Xia Yi, while Xia Yi, Yuanen Yehui, and Ye Xinglan stayed in the Eternal Forest.

• Eternal Venerable explained that the Elf Race received only a small fraction of its Faith Power and said Sea Dragon Venerable and Vast Sky Venerable had stalled at the final step of their inheritances.
• Ya Li decided to meet Sea Dragon Venerable and Vast Sky Venerable again, while Xia Yi agreed to remain in the Eternal Forest with Yuanen Yehui and Ye Xinglan.
