At the Konoha border, ninjas appeared one after another in the forest.

These ninjas were dressed in various styles, wearing the traditional clothing of the Five Great Shinobi Countries. Once they entered the forest, they quickly moved forward.

This was a standard ninja squad, four to a team.

The Konoha Ninja did not come out to stop them. If there was a reason, it was because they were too spread out.

The Shinobi World was vast. It was foolish to view it solely through the maps on paper.

Not to mention that another continent had never appeared on any map of the Shinobi World, even the location of its borders was almost entirely unclear.

Take Konoha, for example. It was impossible to rely on Konoha's tens of thousands of ninjas to defend and closely monitor such a vast territory and prevent invasions.

Along the border, a local resident might still be a citizen of the Land of Fire in the morning, only to become a citizen of the Earth Country by afternoon.

There was no need for ninjas to intervene in such matters. It was common for two neighboring villages to fight over territory and cause deaths.

With Konoha's military strength alone, it had no ability to establish defenses along the border and prevent a single ninja from an enemy country from crossing over.

With a ninja's abilities, it was not merely a matter of being unable to cross because a bridge had been destroyed. Even without a road, they could make one themselves. Sneaking across the national border was simply too easy.
