Background & History

Mimi entered the Ninja Academy as an isolated Aburame child whose insect companions frightened the other students. While classmates introduced themselves, she remotely perceived through and directed Kikaichū in Konoha Forest; Tsunade was the only student willing to share her desk. Even then, Mimi’s command of insects was far beyond ordinary Aburame methods, with insects acting on her thoughts as extensions of herself. 2
