"I surrender!"
Knowing when to yield, Nawaki raised his hands and looked at the dense mass of ninjas filling the cavern hall as he spoke bluntly.
"I'm Senju Nawaki!"
"Princess Tsunade's younger brother!"
He kept shouting loudly to avoid suffering the pain of a beating later.
The Sage Markings on his face quickly faded. He lowered his guard to show that he meant no hostility.
Kakashi, Obito, and Rin lay on the ground, aching all over as they glared at the shameless man.
"So you're Lord Nawaki."
The squad leader said,
"Please come with us."
"I have the right to remain silent!" Nawaki shouted.
"Of course," the squad leader replied.
The underground invasion disturbance came to an end, and the group returned to headquarters to conduct the interrogation.
No one was foolish enough to resort to violence or torture. They simply questioned him as usual.
"Tell us. Why did you invade our unit? Who ordered you to do it? What was your purpose?"
Nawaki had initially intended to remain silent, but seeing the situation, he decided there was no need.
"Uh, I was just playing around. Isn't it okay to be curious?"
The interrogator's face darkened. He slammed the table and shouted, "I'm asking you a serious question! You'd better cooperate!"
It had no effect at all. Crossing his legs, Nawaki raised his brows and said, "Are you trying to scare me?"
"My sister is the Hokage!"
"You think I'll be afraid!?"
He had the carefree, spoiled manner of a wastrel.
The interrogator's face twisted with frustration as he looked toward his superior outside the interrogation room.
What should they do?
There was nothing they could do but wait.
They could only wait for someone from the Hokage's side to come and claim him.
Could they even keep him detained?
