Background / History

Tang San was a Shrek Academy student and a Level 34 Control System War Soul Venerable when Luo Chuan severely injured Xiao Wu. Believing only that Luo Chuan had harmed her, Tang San immediately challenged him. He employed the Blue Silver Emperor, hidden weapons, Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, and the Purple Demon Eye, but ignored the danger his attacks posed to Luo Chuan and nearby allies. His attempt to strike through Zhu Zhuqing resulted in Luo Chuan protecting her and taking the hit himself. 5 6

Luo Chuan retaliated by forcing four golden hairs into Tang San's body—the same weapons Tang San had embedded in Luo Chuan. Tang San endured severe pain while removing them, but the confrontation left several Shrek members disapproving of his methods. 7 9

After Grandmaster ordered him to kill Xiao Wu for her hundred-thousand-year Soul Bone, Tang San hesitated between protecting her and obtaining the bone. Xiao Wu interpreted that hesitation as a betrayal and left with Er Ming, telling Tang San that they should not meet again. 38
