Chapter Summaries

After a year in the Blood God Legion, Jing Shaoyu and Na'er returned to Shrek Academy, where they reunited with their companions and learned how much the five girls had grown. The story left them preparing to report their gains and with Jing Shaoyu considering sending the girls to reinforce the Blood God Legion.

• Jing Shaoyu and Na'er departed the Blood God Legion as Zhang Huanyun and Blood One saw them off, and Jing Shaoyu promised to return and help resolve the Abyss threat.
• Na'er asked Jing Shaoyu to visit Gu Yue after seeing their family, hoping to spar with her before Jing Shaoyu upgraded her battle armor.
• Jing Shaoyu and Na'er arrived at Shrek Academy and reunited with Xu Xiaoyan, Ye Xinglan, Wu Siduo, Mo Hentian, and Lan Fozi.
• Ya Li welcomed Jing Shaoyu and Na'er and brought everyone into the Dou God Pavilion to report their gains.

He then turned to Lan Fozi, asking her to reveal something she needed to tell the group.

• Di Tian explained that Jing Shaoyu was more than a Child of Nature and stopped Bear Lord from trying to kill him.
• Gu Yue flew away from the Lake of Life, while Jing Shaoyu reunited with Na'er and left the forest with her.
• Jing Shaoyu returned to Shrek Academy, where the next day he asked the women to support the Blood God Legion against the Abyss.

Jing Shaoyu rejected the demand for offspring, promised to help Lan Fozi become a god, and offered her the Water Dragon King Torso Bone; the Demon Empress then began the Soul Spirit process.

• Lan Fozi urged the Demon Empress to abandon the Abyss and seek Jing Shaoyu’s help, and Jing Shaoyu explained his conflict with Sea God Tang San and offered the Demon Empress a place as his Soul Spirit.

Jing Shaoyu headed back toward Shrek Academy and the Blood God Legion, while the fleeing Ha Luosa chose to seek refuge with Tang Hao at the Clear Sky Sect.

• Jing Shaoyu captured the Ghost Emperor after the Holy Spirit Cult's upper echelon was defeated, and the Ghost Emperor revealed Qian Gu Dongfeng's collusion with the cult.

Jing Shaoyu, Gu Yue, and Lan Fozi discovered a passage to the Demon Plane and chose to seize its plane core for Jing Shaoyu rather than let Douluo Star absorb the plane directly. They crossed the hostile realm and reached Demon Lord Alba’s palace, where the core was located.

• Jing Shaoyu and his companions found a Space Rift leading to the Demon Plane and decided to invade it.
• Jing Shaoyu and Gu Yue chose to infiltrate the plane and let Jing Shaoyu devour its core, keeping the benefits from going chiefly to Tang Hao.

• Alba awoke to an intrusion, attacked Jing Shaoyu, Gu Yue, and Lan Fozi, and then tried to flee when they unleashed their Martial Soul Avatars.
• Jing Shaoyu, Gu Yue, and Lan Fozi killed Alba with their combined attacks, leaving no trace of him.

Jing Shaoyu, Gu Yue, and Mo Hentian attacked the Clear Sky Sect, where Mo Hentian confronted Tang De over an old grudge. After Tang De was killed and the other elders were subdued, a powerful figure emerged from Haotian Fortress and called for the fighting to stop.

• Jing Shaoyu, Gu Yue, and Mo Hentian shattered the Clear Sky Sect’s mountain gate and demanded that Tang De come out.
• Mo Hentian revealed her Titled Douluo aura and attacked Tang De with her God Slaying Hammer, overpowering him.
• Mo Hentian fought Tang De and the five other elders, while Jing Shaoyu summoned Leng Yulai and the Demon Empress to support her.
• Mo Hentian killed Tang De, and Leng Yulai and the Demon Empress subdued the remaining elders as the Clear Sky Sect disciples stood helpless.

• Gu Yue revealed her Silver Dragon King power and killed Niu Tian after shattering his lightning attack.

Jing Shaoyu confronted Tang Hao over the stolen World Authority and Life Core, but a mysterious light transported them both to the Planet Origin to settle their claims. They prepared to fight there using the authority each controlled, while Gu Yue and Ah Yin waited outside.

• Tang Hao and Ah Yin arrived at the ruined Clear Sky Sect and found Gu Yue absorbing the Titan Giant Ape's Soul Ring.

• Jing Shaoyu interrogated Harrosa, who revealed that Tang Hao ordered him to send Tang Wulin into the Abyss using the Asura Formation when Tang Wulin reached rank ninety-nine.
